The ISAT U Electrical Engineering Department proved their top-level performance as 38 out of 65 first timer EE students passed the Licensure Examination for Registered Electrical Engineer conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) held last April 26-27, 2022.
Out of the 3,029 passers of the April Registered Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination, 43 ISAT U Alumni successfully obtained their license.
PRC Board of Electrical Engineering Chairman, Engr. Francis V. Mapile and Engr. Jaime V. Mendoza and members administered the licensure exams.
The coverage of the REE exams; Mathematics (20%), ESAS (35%) and EE Professional Subjects (45%). (The REE board examinations have been conducted at different PRC testing centers located in the NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
“I am very happy to the result. Despite of the pandemic, we surpass the national passing percentage. The review preparation is not easy to the students especially the review is online platform. Many factors that can affect to our students during their review. It can affect their discipline, hard work and perseverance. I know if the review is face-to-face, there is a tendency we can get 100 percentage passing rate. Congratulations to our new batch of REE. ISAT U got the passing percentage for first takers of 58.46%; over-all passing rate 58.90% (43 out of 73) and the National Passing Percentage of 54.41%. The university produces most number of passers in Region 6.
