ISAT U bags 2020 RSCUAA Sportsfest and Conference championship

The Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT U) bagged the championship in the recently concluded Regional State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (RSCUAA) Sportsfest and Conference held at Carlos Hilado Memorial State College on February 1-6, 2020.

ISAT U asserted its dominance in the regional meet by hauling 105 gold, 44 silver and 49 bronze medals.

The ISAT U players won the gold medals in arnis (men), beach volleyball (men), chess (men), futsal (women), karatedo (men), lawn tennis (men and women), pencak silat (men and women), sepak takraw (men), swimming (women), and volleyball (men).

The silver medals were captured in athletics (men and women), boxing (men), table tennis (women) and taekwondo (women). Meanwhile, the bronze medals were won in arnis (women), chess (women), Taekwondo (men) and in the Latin American dancesports competition.

The victory is a three-peat for ISAT U. Aside from emerging on top of the 13 state colleges and universities in Western Visayas, ISAT U also retained the crown for three consecutive years. The University was champion in the 2017 and 2018 regional games.
