The monologue presentation that portrays domestic violence  creates awareness on child and women’s welfare.

In observance  of the 2018 International Women’s Day Celebration on March 8, 2018, the university gave emphasis on the rights, dignity and wellness of women.

Health check-ups (FBS, BP exam, breast examination, and laboratory tests) and reflex services were conducted to highlight the wellness of women.

On the protection of women’s rights, the Gender and Development program organized a presentation that detailed the school’s campaign on violence against women. A monologue presentation that portrays domestic violence was presented to create awareness on child and women’s welfare.

Male faculty members, staff and students rendered a dance number that entertained their female counterparts. There were also musical renditions by some students and the university band to honor female faculty members, administrative staff and students.

Through a video presentation, the key university officials acknowledged the role of women and inspired them to continue in serving the academe and the society.

Other activities included games for the students, photo booth for women and products presentation  of companies that promote women’s well-being.
