New faculty members of ISAT U system attended the orientation and induction training-workshop conducted by the Human Resource Department on May 30-31, 2017 at the HRT Service Center.

 Dr. Raul F. Muyong, ISAT U President, presented the University’s Vision, Mission, Core Values, Institutional Goals and Institutional Outcomes and Leveling of Expectations. He called on the 86 new entrants that as professors,  they should have something to profess, conduct research, and engage in extension services and production activities. “You should write a name for yourself,” he said. He added that teachers should teach by example.

Mr. John Esar T. David, Acting Director II CSC FO discusses the laws, rules and regulations of the CSC.

The government policies on administration and finance was explained by VPAF Dr. Nehema K. Misola while VPRE Dr. Carmelo V. Ambut reviewed the research and extension services programs. The outcome based education and workshop was discussed and led by CEA Dean Dr. Russ Allen B. Napud.

Mr. John Esar T. David, Civil Service Commission (CSC) Field Office Acting Director, talked on the CSC laws, rules and regulations.

Other speakers were Dr. Ernesto S. Garin who shared his ideas on professionalism versus personalism; Dr. Renelda P. Nacianceno on ISO awareness; and Mr. Ned    P. Cababasay on NBC 461.
